Our Introductory Course
Throughout this course, children will discover the basics of English Literacy and develop the foundation skills for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) in Trinidad and Tobago.

- Read and listen to stories from around the world
- Imagine the story through drawing
- Learn about syllables and use this knowledge to help with spelling
- Practise using new vocabulary
- Improve reading comprehension
- Learn when and how to end sentences
- Learn to use quotation marks
- Learn about nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, pronouns, prepositions and interjections
- Learn to find the subject of the verb
- Write simple narratives
- Develop poise and confidence through reading out loud

A former Head of English at St. Augustine Girls' High School in Trinidad, Carolyn now pursues her passion of empowering children through strengthening their levels of literacy. The goal: help children develop their own unique voices as well as the knowledge and confidence to excel at school.
